Ok, this is a general shout-out to people who aren't slackers and still read this board.
When: Saturday November 3rd between 8AMCST and 3PMCST
Who: Everyone who has a character worth bringing to a death-fest (read Over 190, or Devil of Kimone clan member...exceptions possible, but you better have an Fing great reason why I would bring someone under level 190 who will only die repeatedly)
Where: Duh, Kael Rush
What: We are going to probably die a lot but in that process I hope to obtain some new, ridiculously high level loot that no one has yet.
Some ground rules. Let's get some stuff straight here: I have either A: Been playing this game longer than you, or B: Have been leading the Most enduring and unfair clan in the annals of online gaming history longer than you. AND I have also made more loot decisions that upset some of my closest friends and harshest critics than you ever will. So, here's what will happen.
I will be the voice of the almighty on the raid. We will kill what I say, we will use what strategy I deem appropriate, we will die when I say we will die and I will tell people to do things that they may not like...I might make a paladin heal instead of fight, WHO KNOWS?!?!? I will ALSO hand out loot at my discretion.
I am a few things when it comes to raids. I'm not forgiving, I'm not compromising, and I'm not fair. That said, I give people a piece of the action when they deserve it. I do NOT take all the loot, I do NOT hand the loot off to select people. I make my decisions based on more factors than I care to relay to you here.
So, now that we have all agreed that I will be 'your daddy' on this raid, here's the important stuff. Everyone in attendance must be PK. Yes, I'm serious. There will be a designated "corpse detail" of people who will be in charge of looting, and trophying corpses. Anyone who is not complying with what I ask will be removed from the raid either by recall or by PK. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is.
Now, most of you probably think this is crazy or what have you, but if you think The Devils got all their gear and kills and conquests because we're a bunch of people pandering to the feelings of everyone at the raid, then you are mistaken. In general, anyone who's been on a raid that I ran is familiar with these basic concepts. They're usually successful, and usually there aren't any issues with people not getting their piece of the pie. All of that said, expect to die, a lot. expect me not to care about how much you die or how much con you lose. Expect me to kick you out of the group for whining about it.
There it is. I don't care of the group dynamic as far as classes go...if I tank, then I tank. If we have a druid healing, we have a druid healing. We may not be killing many if any of the bosses in these cases...but we will DAMN sure give it a shot.
Anyway, if you want to be in on a "first" full on run through this zone, show up. If you are interested in helping me out...post your character name/race/class/level (and predict what level you can be by saturday) as a reply to this thread, that will help me develop strategies for when things get weird.
